The Law of Archetypes

The Law Of Archetypes Is That Law Which Is The Original Prototype Serving As The Framework Or Blueprint For Other Laws. Myths, concepts, numbers, shapes, structures, and situations serve as foundational patterns that are followed mostly unconsciously in our world today. In literature, archetypes are used to express the need to 'set the universe on the right course'.

Present in the unconscious of the individual, symbols are inborn and subconsciously understood, just as instincts are passed on in animals. Jung believed that the collective unconscious was essentially made up of archetypes. For example, an archetypal law is the law of one. This apparent division is infinite. To name a few examples, the triangle is an archetype for the triad, Isis represents the Mother Goddess, and the starfish holds the blueprint for regeneration.
